For over 40 years, AFNO has led the way in French instruction—offering everything from business French to Creole, poetry, and film. We partner with local schools, host over 100 cultural events annually, and bring together thousands of Francophiles and heritage speakers.

Our beloved historic building in Uptown New Orleans is more than just a house—it’s a hub for French language learning, cultural exchange, and community connection.
Our space hosts classes for all ages, cultural workshops, film nights, community events, and is home to the largest French-language library in the city, as well as a rotating gallery space showcasing local artists.
