Join the Neighborhood Story Project for a series of short films co-created with musicians and social and pleasure clubs in New Orleans. Each film was conceptualized and edited with the musicians to share historical and contemporary stories from their musical communities.

The Neighborhood Story Project, Alune Wade's SUNU Crescendo Production, and Alliance Française present a day and night of music, fashion, food, and (of course) books celebrating the connections between West Africa and New Orleans.

One of the highlights of our New African Orleans festival on April 4th is our collaboration with Rama Diaw. In honor of our sister-cities-New Orleans and Saint-Louis, Senegal, Rama has created a new line of fashion that she we debut at the festival for the first time.
