Francophone Folk Tales
The event is part of Le mois de la francophonie (Francophone Month,) a month-long festival highlighting the diversity of the French-speaking world.
We're excited to announce the third edition of our "Soirée Contes," an evening for listeners, young and old, French-speaking or not, and those who want to discover the Francophone oral traditions.
Our two conteuses, Vanessa Bertho and Emily Thibodeaux, will recite traditional folk tales from around the French-speaking world, accompanied by the musical stylings of Mahmoud Chouki.
Don't speak French? No problem. Translations of the tales will be available to follow along.
Tickets are $5 for children under 14 years old and $10 for adults and Alliance Française members receive 50% off tickets!
